All items are the sole property of Traveling Lite and are not in any way affiliated with property management, caretakers, owners, etc., and the items are to be treated as such. Property management, caretakers, maintenance, owners, family members, etc., are not to be asked, hinted to, or be it insinuated to have items moved from lodging houses/condos/hotels, or cribs moved from room assembled. If these items are moved and/or damaged in any way, the total cost of replacement will be charged (no exceptions).
The customer is responsible for all items from time of delivery to time of pickup. The customer will be charged for the cost of any item damaged, missing, or requires multiple cleanings. This includes and is not limited to missing/damaged toys, damaged items, missing linens, multiple washing of linens, etc. All deliveries and installations are photographed for reference to items picked up. It is expected that items are returned in a clean condition to avoid further charges.
Payment, Cancellation & Refunds: Credit card payment information is required at the time of reserving rental items. Once the order is placed it is reserved for your use and others may be turned down due to non-availability. Credit cards are charged at time of delivery. Orders cancelled within one day prior to delivery will be charged one night rental. The order is non-refundable after delivery has occurred. There is a minimum order requirement.
Cribs: Cribs are assembled on site and are not to be moved to another room or disassembled. Please call us to move a crib. If a move request is after our deliveries in your area, we will gladly move it the next morning. Do not ask property management, maintenance, caretakers, owners, family members, anyone, or hint to, or insinuate to move it! If a crib is moved and/or damage in any way has incurred, guests WILL BE CHARGED $140 (no exceptions). This also includes teeth marks and paint (but not limited to) which are unable to be removed, rendering the crib un-rentable. Each full size crib rental includes a mattress pad, a fitted sheet, blanket (~30×30), and two rail covers. There is a $15 charge for each unreturned piece of bedding and $20 for each unreturned rail cover. All installations are photographed for comparison.
Pack’n Plays: Each includes a mattress pad and fitted sheet. There is a $15 charge for each piece of unreturned bedding. Please leave pack’n play set up as it was delivered.
Air Mattresses: Air mattresses are made for sleeping and are not to be used for trampolines or play. If an air mattress is damaged (ie. will not hold air, etc.), the customer will be charged $80 for replacement. There is a 200 pound weight limit.
Safety Gates: Due to the nature of our business only pressure-mounted safety gates are supplied. Per manufactures’ instructions they are not for use at the top of stairs; these gates are to be used between rooms and in hallways. The number of gates requested will be delivered for your use as you choose. The customer assumes all risk and liability if the customer chooses to install the gate against manufacturer’s direction.
Toys: Traveling Lite is not responsible for damage to lodges due to the rental of toys or equipment. We keep accurate records of toys that are delivered. If toys are damaged/missing, the replacement cost will be charged to the credit card provided. Please do not play with toys in water unless they are specifically designed for water play. Please remind nannies that if toys go on walks or are used for play outside, the toys need to find their way back to the toy box. Please gather up all the toys at the end of your stay.
Delivery: Last minute / urgent deliveries and return / multiple delivery attempts which are not the fault of Traveling Lite LLC, will result in delivery fees. Our goal is to set up all items in the accommodation prior to the arrival of the guest. Deliveries and pickups typically begin at 9:00am. Times are approximate and do change during busy/turnover days. If rental items are not available for pickup beginning at 9:00am, there will be an additional day charged for all items.
Traveling Lite LLC shall have no liability for any failure to deliver equipment ordered, any delay in doing so, or for any damage or defect to equipment delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, weather conditions, or accident, etc.
By the way of ordering and paying for rental items from Traveling Lite LLC, the customer is agreeing to the following terms and understands that this release of liability covers each and every item that has been rented.
The Customer will use the equipment only for and in accordance with its intended use and pursuant to any instructions provided therewith. Loss or damage to the equipment, reasonable wear and tear expected, is the responsibility of the Customer. In no event will Traveling Lite be held responsible for any damage, loss or injury (including death) caused by or arising out of the use of any equipment provided by Traveling Lite, or the failure of the equipment to function as intended. Full right, title and ownership of the equipment will at all times remain with Traveling Lite. It is the Customer’s responsibility to examine the equipment prior to use to determine fitness and state of repair and to return the equipment in the same state of repair and cleanliness as when delivered. If an item is broken beyond reasonable repair and cannot be rented, the customer will be charged for replacement of item with the same or equal value.
An understanding that there exist certain risks of injury from the use or misuse of such items, including the potential risk of serious injury, disability or death from the use of such items. The customer knowingly and freely assumes all such risks, both known and unknown, and assumes full responsibility for use of such items.
Traveling Lite reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime.
